Due to the Dutch law both is legalized. So can we actually call Amsterdam a legal Sin City?? Sin City of the Day: Istanbul
Contrast! You can have it all in Istanbul: European luxury boulevards, restaurants, shops, dyed blond hair, designer shoes. But 10 minutes away from that you get the other side: slums, drugs and violence.
There is no other place where the clash of cultures is as obvious as in Istanbul.
But what connects it all is a crazy art, party and music scene. Is Istanbul your Sin City??

Sin City of the Day: Shanghai
Shanghai on a busy evening: crowds of people, commercialism and fashion! It is easy to see that the city is tilting entirely towards the future and is blind to it's past. That makes Shanghai an exciting place. Not forgetting Shanghai's rich and rocky history.
From a fishing village 160 years ago, Shanghai became a fabulous gangster city competing with the Chicago of Al Capone.

AC/DC- Sin City lyrics
Diamonds and dust
Poor man last, rich man first
Lamborginis, caviar
Dry martini's, Shangrila
I got a burnin' feeling, deep inside of me
It's yearnin', but I'm gonna set it free
I'm goin' in to sin city
I'm gonna win in sin city
Where the lights are bright
Do the town tonight
I'm gonna win in sin city, let me roll ya baby
Ladders and snakes
Ladders give, snakes take
Rich man, poor man, beggar man thief
You ain't got a hope in hell, that's my belief
Fingers Freddy, Diamond Jim
They're getting ready, look out I'm coming in
So spin that wheel, cut that pack
And roll them loaded dice
Bring on the dancin' girls, and put the champaign on ice
I'm goin' in to sin city
I'm gonna win in sin city
Where the lights are bright
Do the town tonight
I'm gonna win in sin city
Poor man last, rich man first
Lamborginis, caviar

Dance?!?!
It goes without saying that a very crucial facet in many films is dance. Since the beginning of film, dance has appeared as an apparent element and invaluable in igniting the interaction of characters in various respects.
Dance is the ultimate expressive gesture that could signal multiple ideas and moods relying exclusively on the movement and body language of the dancer.

Sin City of the Day: New Orleans
New Orleans has always been a significant center for music and it can be considered the birthplace of jazz.
Later it New Orleans was a contribution to the development of Rock 'n' Roll, which was followed by Funk music in the 1960s and 1970s. Today Hip Hop is one of the most influential genres.
That's why many music festivals take place in New Orleans today...

Introducing: Schmidt
SCHMIDT, 21, is a young singer from Berlin, who was discovered by one of the big names in the music scene between London and LA: Guy Chambers. In SCHMIDT, he found the modern young woman who, as an artist and as a personality, embodies the new zeitgeist, which can today be felt between London and Berlin and the big metropolises of the world.
London 2011 – a cocktail, which would have done honour to Marlene Dietrich, is electrifying the club scene: The ecstatic feeling of freedom of Berlin in the 1920s merges with the eroticism of the New Burlesque and exciting new tunes. In London, the era of the Blue Angel is experiencing a revival in the style of young people, in the atmosphere of exclusive establishments and in champagne-fuelled, sinful nights. A trend originating directly from the current zeitgeist. And a young woman from today's Berlin is one of its protagonists - SCHMIDT.
With an understated "Hey, I'm SCHMIDT", the 21-year-old opened her stage debut in London at Guy Chamber`s "Orgasmatron", a music event providing a stage for 21st Century Cabaret. Since then, the young artist has moved around the London music scene like a fish in water, among others working with musicians at the legendary jazz club "Ronnie Scott's". Looking for a special sound: Jazz influenced pop, in its very own, authentic way. Inspired by the music of the 1920s and today's attitude to life. Through cabaret, jazz, freedom and joie de vivre.
Music relating to the hidden desires of young women. Vulnerable but self-assured and demanding.
In her provocative and profound texts, SCHMIDT talks about devotion and pleasurable excesses, sung in an apparently innocent but at the same time experienced and lasciviously-demanding voice. She lives the free spirit of the lost epoch, on and off stage. But at the same time, she fully absorbs the pulsating creativity of the two cities, in which her life is played out these days.
And she translates her inspirations and stories into a vesture of sound of the 21st century, together with Guy Chambers, her congenial "partner in crime".
Her EP will be released on the 30 September, providing an interesting insight into her debut album, which is due for release in February 2012.
